Where to Find Pressed Penny Machines in EPCOT World Showcase
Pressed Pennies are an inexpensive and fun souvenir to collect when you travel. They are made by machines that emboss a unique design into a penny. These machines are not unique to Walt Disney World. They can be found all over the country. There are more than 3000 machines currently in the United States.

Many family vacations in Walt Disney World can get expensive. One way to save money is to take advantage of inexpensive souvenir options. Pressed pennies are one of my favorites!
You will find pressed penny machines in each of the parks at Walt Disney World. All 11 countries around World Showcase have at least one pressed penny machine, and several countries have more than one. In this post, I will show you where you can find all of the pressed penny machines in EPCOT World Showcase.
Why Collect Pressed Pennies at EPCOT?
Pressed pennies are a fun and inexpensive souvenir that you can find throughout Walt Disney Parks. The designs on the pennies in Walt Disney World do change regularly. Each year you will find several new designs that include the year so you can commemorate your special trip. During special anniversaries Disney often releases more unique press penny designs. In 2023, Disney released 69 special penny designs for their 100th anniversary.
Many of these pennies are only offered for a limited time. Because there are so many designs to collect in new designs are released every year pressed pennies are a great item for children (and of course adults!) to collect.
Each machine offers a variety of designs, and there are allowing you to choose your favorites or complete a set. They are inexpensive, collectible, and easy to carry during your day at the parks.
How much do Pressed Pennies cost?
The pressed pennies throughout Walt Disney World are now automated. Most machines will provide a penny for you
The Cost:
- $1.00 for a single penny – cash only.
- $3.00 – $5.00 for a set of up to 8 pennies – pay with a credit card or Apple Pay
How to use the pressed Penny Machines
Most of the press penny machines at Disney World have been upgraded and are now entirely automated. You will insert your cash – $1 dollar bill for 1 coin or use a credit card or Apple Pay for a set. The automated machines do all the work for you, they even provide the penny. Some machines have a screen where you tap to select your design; others have buttons that you press.
Several machines still use a hand crank to press the pennies, so you can still turn the lever to get your coin. These are a little more fun if you ask me.

We purchased press penny books to bring to the park to store our new souvenirs.
Where to find Pressed Penny Machines In EPCOT World Showcase
You will find at least one pressed penny machine in each country in the World Showcase. In some countries, you will even find more than one machine. This list will help you hunt down each machine so you don’t miss any! The location of the pressed penny machines can change occasionally if there are any closures or renovations in the area. If you can not find the machine, ask a nearby cast member or check the My Disney Experience App to find all of the locations!

Mexico:
Location: Mexico’s pressed penny machines can be found outside by the Ring Carver stand.
Norway:
Location: There are 2 machines located in the Fjording Shop. You will also find one at the exit of the Frozen ride beside the frozen merchandise.
China:
LocationS: There are 2 located in the courtyard beside the merchandise kiosk. Plus, one in the House of Good Fortune.
Occasionally, you can find special collections like the Lunar New Year pressed penny set, which features designs of the Chinese zodiac animals. These unique sets are often updated, so keep an eye out for new designs!

Location: Inside Enoteca Castello
The American Adventure (USA):
Location: Outside beside the merchandise kiosk
Japan:
Location: There are 2 outside in the courtyard by the Kawaii sign.
Morocco:
Location: Inside Tangier Traders (the marketplace)
Sadly, as of March 2025, the Pressed Penny Machine in Morocco has been moved and there is no date for it to be replaced.
France:
Location: Inside Les Halles Boulangerie
United Kingdom:
Location: Inside The Toy Soldier
Canada:
Location: Inside the Northwest Mercantile/Trading Post
International Gateway
Location: Inside the World Traveler shop
