Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bar

It’s an icon. Vanilla ice cream, thick chocolate shell, and Mickey-Shaped, it deserves the #1 spot! You can find these in all 4 parks, at every Disney Resort, and at many quick-service dining locations, as well as in Disney Springs. Keep those napkins handy, if you’re visiting 9 months out of the year, this one’s going to melt!

Disney recently started offering hand-dipped Mickey Premium Ice Cream bars. They are hand-dipped in chocolate and sprinkled with various sprinkles and candies like M&M’s, freeze-dried Skittles, and peanut butter cups. These cost a bit more than the pre-packaged Premium bars, starting at around $7.99.

Where to find Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bars:

Snack carts throughout Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom. Around nearly every corner at the Walt Disney World parks, you’ll find a popcorn cart or snack cart that sells Mickey Premium bars.

You can find the hand-dipped Mickey Premium bars at a few locations, including in Magic Kingdom at Auntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodies in Tomorrowland, in Animal Kingdom at the Anandapur Ice Cream Truck, in Hollywood Studios at Gertie’s (the dinosaur in Echo Lake) Ice Cold Hydraulics. Some resorts also offer these, including Caribbean Beach, Fort Wilderness, Pop Century, All-Star Resorts, Pop Century and other resorts.

Estimated Price:

Mickey Soft Pretzel

The classic version comes with cheese sauce to dip your pretzel in. The Cream cheese-filled version is a fan favorite and often sells out and the locations that offer this special pretzel do change locations often. Be sure to check the My Disney Experience App to find the most up-to-date locations.

Where to find it:

The traditional Mickey Soft pretzel can be found at snack carts throughout all 4 parks, including Disney Springs. Wherever you can find popcorn, you will most likely find a warm soft pretzel. Disney also offers a delicious cream cheese-filled version at Lunching Pad (Magic Kingdom), and often you can find them at the snack cart to the left of Mickey’s Runaway Railway in Hollywood Studios.

Estimated Price:

~$7-8

Mickey Waffles

These are usually served with syrup, but in some cases, you’ll find fresh fruit and whipped cream available to top your waffles (this is my favorite way to eat Mickey Waffles!) breakfast staple of Disney World. Fluffy inside, crispy edges, perfectly golden. Add butter and syrup for full magic.

You may even find chicken-stuffed Mickey Waffles at Rix Sports Bar & Grill at Coronado Springs Resort and on the buffet at Hollywood and Vine at Hollywood Studios.

Where to find it:

Your resort’s quick service locations will have a Mickey Waffle platter or a kid’s meal available. Most table service restaurants that offer breakfast also have Mickey Waffles on the menu. They are only offered during breakfast hours, which usually end between 10:30 and 11:00 am.  It may be tricky to find these when walking around the parks; however, we have only seen them at Fairfax Fare in Hollywood Studios. Sleepy Hollow in Magic Kingdom had them for a short time, but has since gone back to a regular round waffle.

Estimated Price:

Prices vary. The children’s Mickey waffle platter is typically ~$7.99

Mickey Ice Cream Sandwich

These ice cream sandwiches are not only Mickey-Shaped, but they are filled with cookies-and-cream ice cream between two soft Mickey-Shaped cookies. Some people prefer these over the Mickey Premium bars. Again, you’ll want to grab those napkins – this one not only melts, but the soft cookies can also stick to your fingers. But trust me, it’s worth it!

Disney calls these Rice Cereal Treats (gotta watch those trademarks!), but we all refer to them as Rice Krispie Treats! You can create your own Rice Cereal Treats at Goofy’s Candy Company at Disney Springs. This is also the best way to get the freshest rice cereal treats! Many of the prepackaged treats have been there for a while, and we prefer the fresh ones!

These are also great to grab before a parade or before you head home. We love enjoying bringing a few home to enjoy when we return from our Disney Vacation – it helps with the Disney blues.

Mickey Churro Waffle

This is one of the Mickey-Shaped foods that are hard to find. There are only a few places you will find these deliciousThey occasionally pop up, but they are pretty rare. Tips for Making the Most of Mickey-Shaped Snacks at Disney World

A few things I’ve learned from snacking my way through the parks:

  • Check the My Disney Experience app before heading out. Current menus, locations, and mobile order availability are all in there. Snack availability changes often, and the last thing you want is to make a special trip to a specific cart only to find the item isn’t there.
  • Make it a tradition to take a photo of your children holding their Mickey-Shaped treat. It’s fun to look back on over the years as they grow and makes for a fun memory!
  • Arrive early for the fan favorites. The cream cheese-filled Mickey Pretzel at Lunching Pad and Hollywood Studios is notorious for selling out by late afternoon. If it’s on your must-try list, make it a morning priority.
  • Mobile order where you can. Several snack locations offer mobile ordering through the My Disney Experience app, which lets you skip the wait at the window.
  • Ask a Cast Member to cut your caramel apple. They may be able or willing to do this for you, but it’s not guaranteed. Having it cut makes it much easier to eat rather than trying to take a full bite out of a caramel-dipped whole apple.
  • Use snack credits wisely if you’re on the Disney Dining Plan. Mickey Ice Cream Bars and Mickey Pretzels are popular snack credit choices because they offer solid value for the credit cost.
  • Don’t sleep on the snacks you can find at your resort. The Mickey Beignets at Port Orleans French Quarter are worth a special trip, even if you’re not staying at that resort. Some of the best Mickey-Shaped snacks aren’t in the parks at all.
  • Bring ziplock bags in your park bag! They come in handy when you have leftover treats that you can’t finish.
