Where is Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party Held?

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is held at Disney World’s Magic Kingdom Park on special nights from November 8 through December 20, 2024. There will be special holiday events, shows, parades, treats, and character meet-and-greets. Plus, a special holiday fireworks display. You’ll get to meet your favorite characters dressed up for the Holidays and enjoy lots of special Christmas-themed food and snacks throughout the night.

How much are Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party tickets?

Prices vary for MVMCP depending on the date that you choose. The prices range from $169.00-$219.00 per ticket for adults and $159 – $209 per night for children.

There will be discounts for DVC Members and Annual Passholder Discount ($10 off) for some evenings. (Nov: 8, 11, 12, 14, 15, 17, 19, 21 and 22. Dec: 1, 3, and 5.)

When can you buy tickets for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party?

Tickets are usually available for MVMCP around the 1st of May each year. This date changes every year so be sure to check back for updated dates for the 2024 MVMCP Ticket sale. Just a reminder Tickets are non-refundable and the party is rain-or-shine.

When can you buy tickets for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party 2024?

Tickets are available July 2, 2024, for all guests staying at Disney Resorts. All other guests may purchase tickets beginning on July 10, 2024.

What are the dates for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party 2024?

What time does Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party Start?

This Disney Christmas party begins at 7 pm. If you have a ticket to the event you may enter the park at 4 pm. You do not need a park reservation to enter the park at 4 pm

Every night that there is a party, Magic Kingdom Park will close early to regular-ticketed guests. All guests who do not have a ticket to this special event will be asked to leave at 6 pm. 

If you are already in the park when the party starts and still need to get your party wristbands; you can pick them up throughout the park once the party starts.

How late does Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party go?

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party ends at 12 a.m. Busses will continue to run 1 hour past the close of Magic Kingdom.

Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime fireworks show

Minnie’s Fireworks show is a festive show with fireworks and projections on the castle. Truly magical. Make sure you get a spot early!

Location: Main Street U.S.A and over the Castle

Time: 10:00 PM (time from the 2023 party)

Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade Times

This holiday parade is full of festive music, characters, dancing, and yes… even snow. You-Know-Who also make a jolly appearance.

Location: Begins in Frontierland – Ends by the Main Street Station

Times: 8:30pm and 11:00pm

Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration Stage Show Times

This holiday show is full of your favorite Disney Characters. The stage show appears 4 times each night.

Location: Cinderella Castle Stage

Times: 7:40pm, 9:25pm, 10:35pm, 11:55pm

Frozen Holiday Surprise

This Frozen show is brand new this year! I’m excited to see Elsa, Anna, and friends (especially Olaf)! This show will be available 2 times each night.

A Totally tomorrowland Christmas

This is a 20-minute stage show by Space Mountain with Stitch and other characters from Monsters, Inc. and other shows. This show is availabe 5 times each night.

The Edge Effect

This singing group performs a capella on stage in Tomorrowland several times each night.

Stop by Cosmic Ray’s for a festive dance party with characters like Fancy Nancy, Doc McStuffins and the Lion Guard (and more!)

Dance Party at Club Tinsel

The Club Tinsel dance party happens throughout the night. Just stop by the Rockettower Plaza stage and join in the fun!

Do you get free food at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party? 

You will receive complimentary cookies and festive beverages (hot cocoa, eggnog, and apple cider) Each cookie is wrapped individually so some guests bring their own cookie bags or tins to carry their cookies since the cookies are unlimited.

Don’t forget that there are plenty of other delicious treats to try at the party.

You can pick up treats during the Christmas party at several locations including:

• Letter To Santa: Flourless chocolate cake, hot cocoa mousse, and marshmallows topped with chocolate pieces

Casey’s Corner – Main Street U.S.A

• Candy Cane Tart: Chocolate tart filled with peppermint ganache and topped with festive meringue 

The Friar’s Nook – Fantasyland

• Holiday Ham Fried Pie: Flaky pastry filled with baked ham, candied sweet potatoes, and spiced pecans served with pineapple glaze 
• Italian Beef Tots: Tots covered in slow-cooked beef, cheese curds, zesty giardiniera, and pot roast gravy 
• Peppermint Snowman: Chocolate brownie topped with cookies ‘n cream peppermint mousse
• Winter Milk Shake: Creamy coconut milkshake topped with whipped cream, toasted coconut, cinnamon, and crisp pearls (Non-alcoholic beverage) 

Storybook Treats – Fantasyland

• Sugar Plum Sundae: Sugar plum soft-serve atop sugar cookie crumbs and topped with whipped cream, crisp pearls, and cotton candy 
• Holiday Turkey Burger: Turkey burger topped with traditional stuffing, provolone cheese, and cranberry chutney on a brioche bun 
• Christmas Cookie Cake: Christmas cookie cake roll with buttercream and topped with holiday sprinkles

• Magic Holiday Tree: Coconut, pecans, and M&M’S chocolate candies on a graham cracker crust 

Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe – Tomorrowland

• Holiday Pot Roast Melt: Slow-cooked beef on thick toast with cheddar and provolone cheese and beef gravy 

Auntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodies – Tomorrowland

• Lump of Coal in your Stocking: This is a cookies ‘n cream milkshake with whipped cream, cookies ‘n cream crumbles, and a chocolate doughnut on top.

Golden Oak Outpost – frontierland

• Orange Gingerbread Shake: Orange cream slushy layered with gingerbread cookie crumbles and topped with whipped cream, gingerbread spice (Non-alcoholic beverage) 
• Gingerbread Cake: Gingerbread Cake layered with cream cheese frosting and dulce de leche ganache topped with a gingerbread man chocolate piece.

Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn & Cafe – frontierland

• Chicken Tamale: Tamale with chicken served “Christmas style” with mild red chile and green chile-pumpkin seed sauces, cilantro rice, pinto beans, and queso fresco
• Chocolate Eggnog Reindeer: Chocolate tart topped with eggnog mousse and chocolate antlers 
• Orange-Cranberry Pineapple Punch – A non-alcoholic punch with orange cranberry and pineapple with a bit of smokey flavor.

Sleepy Hollow Refreshments – Liberty Square

• Holiday Waffle Sundae: House-made red velvet waffle topped with M&M’S chocolate candies, peppermint ice cream, and hot fudge 
• Milk and Cookies for Santa: Brown sugar cookie cake topped with chocolate chip cookie dough mousse, milk mousse, and chocolate chip cookies

Sunshine Tree Terrace – Adventureland

• Santa’s Belt Buckle:  Pistachio mousse with a dark chocolate truffle center and a chocolate buckle.

What restaurants will be open during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party?

During the MVMCP many Magic Kingdom Restaurants will be open for dining. This includes Quick Service and Table Service Dining locations. Check the My Disney Experience to make reservations or check for hours.

What Characters Can You Meet at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party?

Some of these characters you can meet during the day so you might want to consider skipping those characters to meet your favorites during the party.

Tip: You can ask the Cast Members to take photos with your own phone. I wish we had done this with our Minnie meet-and-greet because the automatic camera that some locations use did not get good photos. Simply ask the cast members, they. are usually happy to help.

What Rides and Attractions are available during the party?

Most rides at Magic Kingdom are available during the Christmas party.

The following rides have a special holiday overlay, so you don’t want to miss them!

• Jungle Cruise becomes the JINGLE Cruise in Adventureland * you can ride the festive Jingle Cruise during the day – it is not party exclusive so you may want to wait and ride it at another time if possible.
• Mad Tea Party has a special holiday vibe
• Monsters INC. Laugh Floor always has a great festive overlay
• Space Mountain has some added festive touches
• Tomorrowland Speedway is all dressed up for the holidays.

What if I have tickets for the Party, Do I need to leave the park and come back in?

MVMCP Ticket Holders Can Enter the Magic Kingdom at 4 pm (without a park reservation- your ticket acts as your reservation, allowing you to enter the park at 4 pm. 

Typically Disney requires that you have a park reservation for each day of your vacation. (until January 9. 2024) 

Can you Dress up for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party?

One of the best parts of the parties at Disney World is that you can have fun and do a little dressing up if you’d like. For this party, we will be wearing festive outfits (Christmas shirt and skirt) with some light-up Mickey Necklaces. I’ve heard that many other families dress up in Christmas PJ’s, which sounds fun and comfy!
