Not really, the only food you’ll get for free at Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party is the candy you’ll receive when trick-or-treating. Unlike some other Disney World late-night events, MNSSHP does not offer any extra free goodies but there are plenty of delicious treats to try at the party.
Party food at Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party (2023)
Since we had dinner when we got into the park we were not super hungry until later in the night. I had a long list of treats I wanted to try, that were recommended by some of my favorite Disney Vloggers, but we only had a few treats.
To see all of the special treats we enjoyed at the 2023 Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party you can read the post here.
What restaurants will be open during Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween party?
During the MNSSHP most Magic Kingdom Restaurants will be open for dining. This includes Quick Service and Table Service Dining locations. Check the My Disney Experience to make reservations or check for hours.
How to get the best view for the MNSSHP Firework Show?
Disney has 2 special ticketed Dessert Parties during Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party. These are additionally ticketed events that allow you to enjoy a special dessert party and allow you to have excellent views of the fireworks show at 10:15. Find out more about the dessert party offerings here or here.
Be aware that using time to attend a dessert party during the party is probably not a great idea considering the cost of your party tickets. These parties will take up pressure MNSSHP time and you might miss out on the limited attractions and meet-and-greets at the party.
I’d recommend skipping the dessert party, grabbing a bunch of yummy treats or dinner, and claiming a good spot for the fireworks instead.

What if you have Food Allergies?
If you are gluten-free, dairy-free, or nut-free, Disney has you covered. You can request a teal “allergy-friendly” trick-or-treat bag. This will alert the cast members to give you a token instead of candy at each Trick or Treat location. You collect tokens throughout the park just as you would collect candy.
