Echo Lake

Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular!
Duration: 25 minutes | Mobility: No transfer needed | Large outdoor amphitheater | Multiple shows daily; check app for times
The Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular is one of our favorite live shows at Walt Disney World. It is located in Echo Lake and opened back in 1989. This 25-minute show recreates famous stunt sequences from Raiders of the Lost Ark, including a bazaar chase, an enormous collapsing set, and many other exciting moments. There are fire effects, explosions, and impressive fight choreography performed by a professional stunt team. A few audience members are also recruited to participate.
It runs multiple times daily. The open-air theater holds 2,150 guests, so finding a spot is usually pretty easy. Just be aware: it is loud, and the pyrotechnics are startling if you’re not expecting them.

For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration
Duration: 30 minutes | Mobility: No transfer needed | Large indoor theater, air-conditioned | Multiple shows daily; check app for times
Also located at Echo Lake, the Frozen Sing-Along is exactly what it sounds like: a live performance with audience sing-along to the biggest songs from Frozen, hosted by two royal historians from Arendelle with appearances from Anna and Elsa. The indoor theater is air-conditioned and seats about 1,000 guests. This is one of the most legitimately fun midday breaks in the park. Even if you’re not a huge Frozen fan, the performers are entertaining, and the energy in the room is contagious. The lyrics are displayed on screen, so you have no excuse not to participate.

Toy Story Land

Green Army

This is a fun experience you might happen to see when walking through Toy Story Land. Throughout the day the Green Army Men can be seen marching through Toy Story Land. While this isn’t a full show or theater production, it’s fun to see them walk by.

Beauty and the Beast: Live on Stage is located in the Theater of the Stars on Sunset Boulevard. This live musical show condenses the story of Beauty and the Beast into a 25-minute performance with live performers in elaborate costumes, beloved songs, and colorful set pieces. It’s a classic and a crowd-pleaser, especially for families with younger kids. The outdoor amphitheater has some covered seating but isn’t fully enclosed, so take the weather into account when planning. You can usually bring snacks or drinks to enjoy while watching the show.

Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After
Duration: ~25 minutes | Mobility: No transfer needed | Outdoor stage on Sunset Boulevard | Multiple shows daily; check app for times
Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After debuted in May 2025 and brings some of Disney’s most iconic villains to the stage on Sunset Boulevard. The show puts the villains front and center in their own version of events, which makes for an entertaining change of perspective. If you or your kids are big villain fans, this is a must-see. Check the My Disney Experience app for performance times.

Fantasmic!
Duration: 30 minutes | Mobility: Accessible seating available in the amphitheater | Nightly (1-2 shows depending on season); check app for times | May cancel in rain
Fantasmic! is the nightly water, fire, and projection spectacular at Hollywood Studios, and it has been a cornerstone of this park since 1998. Mickey Mouse stars in a dreamlike adventure where Disney villains invade his imagination, and the show uses live performers, water screens, projections, and some of the most impressive pyrotechnic effects at any Disney park to bring it all to life. The Hollywood Hills Amphitheater holds thousands of guests, but it fills up quickly. Plan to arrive 30 to 45 minutes early to secure a good seat. The show runs for about 30 minutes and is one of those Disney experiences that sneaks up on you emotionally no matter how many times you’ve seen it. Note that Fantasmic! can be cancelled due to weather and is not rescheduled if cancelled.

The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure
Duration: ~30 minutes | Mobility: No transfer needed | Large indoor theater, air-conditioned | Multiple shows daily; check app for times
The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure replaced the beloved Voyage of the Little Mermaid in 2025 with a full-scale live musical production. The show tells the complete story of Ariel with live performers, elaborate costumes, puppetry, and special effects in a large indoor theater. It’s a significant upgrade from its predecessor and one of the most complete stage productions at Hollywood Studios. If you have Little Mermaid fans in your group, this should be on the must-do list.

Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live!
Duration: ~20 minutes | Mobility: No transfer needed | Indoor stage, air-conditioned | Check app for scheduled times
New as of May 2026, Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live! brings an interactive stage show experience to the newly reimagined Walt Disney Studios Lot area. Mickey and Minnie are throwing a party, but their friends haven’t arrived yet, so guests help search for Goofy, Daisy, and Pluto through music, dancing, and audience participation. This show is specifically designed for the youngest Disney guests and their families, and it fills the space left by the former Disney Junior Dance Party.

Mickey Shorts Theater
Duration: ~10 minutes | Mobility: No transfer needed | Small indoor theater, air-conditioned
The Mickey Shorts Theater, located near Echo Lake, screens a short film featuring Mickey and Minnie. Currently showing is Mickey & Minnie’s Vacation Fun, a warm and funny short that’s a nice 10-minute break from the Florida heat. The theater is fully air-conditioned. It’s not a must-do, but if you walk past and the timing works, it’s a pleasant rest stop.

Walt Disney Presents
Duration: Self-paced | Mobility: No transfer needed | Indoor exhibit, air-conditioned
Walt Disney Presents is a self-paced walk-through exhibit in the Walt Disney Studios Lot area that covers the history of Walt Disney and the Disney company, with artifacts, concept art, and previews of upcoming Disney projects and attractions.
