Where to find each Non-Ride Attraction in Magic Kingdom

Main Street U.S.A. or In Front of Cinderella’s Castle

Casey’s Corner Pianist

Duration: Varies | Mobility: No transfer needed | Outdoor performance on Main Street U.S.A. | Check app for times

On Main Street U.S.A., near Casey’s Corner restaurant, you’ll often find a live pianist performing ragtime and Disney tunes on an outdoor piano. It’s one of my favorite, often overlooked performances on Main Street U.S.A. Check the My Disney Experience app for performance times, as this is a scheduled performer and doesn’t play continuously throughout the day.

The Dapper Dans

Duration: Varies | Mobility: No transfer needed | Outdoor performance | Check app for times

The Dapper Dans are Magic Kingdom’s iconic barbershop quartet, and they have been harmonizing their way down Main Street U.S.A. since the park opened in 1971. They perform a mix of Disney songs, play organ chimes, and make you giggle with silly puns, which we would consider “Dad jokes”. They are easy to spot in their signature straw hats and striped vests. You might see them along the street, or riding down Main Street on a trolley. Check the My Disney Experience app for scheduled performance times.

The Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade

Duration: ~12 minutes | Mobility: Accessible viewing areas available | Outdoor performance |Typically 1-2 parades daily; check My Disney Experience app for times

You’ll see lots of characters from Disney and Pixar movies. This mini parade begins in Frontierland, goes through Liberty Square, goes in front of Cinderella’s Castle, and heads down Main Street U.S.A. It’s a short, but full-of-characters parade that you won’t want to miss if you have kids with you.

Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away

Duration: ~12 minutes| Mobility: Accessible viewing areas available | Outdoor | Typically 1-2 shows nightly; check My Disney Experience app for times

Disney Starlight is Magic Kingdom’s brand-new nighttime parade, which debuted in July 2025. It travels in the opposite direction from Festival of Fantasy, starting in Town Square on Main Street U.S.A. and moving toward Frontierland. The parade features illuminated floats and characters from Frozen, Peter Pan, Encanto, Coco, Moana, and more, all led by the Blue Fairy from Pinocchio. The visuals at night are stunning. On busy evenings, there are two performances, and the second showing typically draws smaller crowds, giving you a better view with a little more room to breathe. Times vary, and on some nights, party dates, for example, this parade may be canceled. Be sure to check for showtimes.

Festival of Fantasy Parade

Duration: ~12 minutes | Mobility: Accessible viewing areas available | Outdoor | Check My Disney Experience app for showtimes

The Festival of Fantasy Parade travels from Main Street U.S.A. toward Frontierland and typically runs once per afternoon, usually around 3 PM (though showtimes vary and a second performance is sometimes added on busier days). This is a full parade experience with elaborate, oversized floats celebrating Classic Disney stories with huge floats, music, dancing, and over 40 characters to see. You’ll spot Anna and Elsa, Rapunzel and Flynn Rider, Ariel, Princess Tiana, Peter Pan, and more. Accessible viewing areas are available along the parade route; check with a cast member for help.

Happily Ever After

Duration: 18 minutes | Mobility: Accessible viewing areas available | Outdoor | Nightly; check My Disney Experience app for exact time

Happily Ever After is the nightly fireworks and projection show at Magic Kingdom. The show combines fireworks, projection mapping onto Cinderella Castle, and an amazing musical score for about 18 minutes (bring your tissues!). The hub area directly in front of Cinderella Castle gives you the most centered view of both the castle projections and the fireworks, though it fills up quickly. If you only want to see the fireworks and don’t want to be in the crowds, you can view most of the fireworks from many areas in the park. We like to watch them from the area in front of Pirates of the Caribbean (the get in line for the ride when it’s over. The show typically runs nightly around 9 to 10 PM depending on the season. Even if you’ve seen it before, it still gets you.

Shows and Entertainment in Adventureland

Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room

Duration: ~16 minutes | Mobility: No transfer needed | Air-conditioned

This indoor show features singing birds, flowers, and tiki statues in a tropical setting. The animatronic performance is lighthearted and fun, with a catchy theme song. It’s a nice break from the heat and a piece of Disney nostalgia.

A Pirate’s Adventure

Duration: About 20 minutes | Mobility: No transfer needed | Outside / Check app for times

This is a fun interactive activity that you can do in Adventureland. There are 5 different missions to try. Stop by The Crow’s Nest to pick up your map to get started. You will use your MagicBand+, Key to the World Card, or theme park admission at different locations during your mission. Each time you activate the touchpoints, it will expose the next clue.

Missions have no time limit, and you can take breaks and restart anytime you’d like. We did this during one trip while it was lightly raining and we were waiting for a ride to open back up. It was so much fun; check it out!

Shows and Entertainment in Liberty Square

The Hall of Presidents

Duration: ~25 minutes | Mobility: No transfer needed | Large air-conditioned theater

The Hall of Presidents is located in Liberty Square, and it is genuinely one of the most impressive audio-animatronic experiences Disney has ever created. Every U.S. president is represented on stage. The show uses animatronics and a short film to present the history of the formation of the U.S. It is on the slower, more educational side, so some younger audiences may not be very entertained, but the air-conditioned theater makes for the perfect midday break on a hot Florida day.

Shows and Entertainment in Frontierland

Country Bear Jamboree

Duration: ~16 minutes | Mobility: No transfer needed | Indoor, air-conditioned

Country Bear Musical Jamboree is tucked into Frontierland in its longtime home at Grizzly Hall. The show received a full refresh in 2024 that updated the music to a mix of Disney songs reimagined in different country music styles, while keeping the beloved original cast of bears intact. Big Al is still here, doing exactly what Big Al should be doing. The new version is snappier and more accessible to younger audiences while keeping the charm of the original. It’s a cozy, air-conditioned indoor show and a nice midday break.

Jessie’s Roundup Rodeo

Duration: Varies | Mobility: No transfer needed | Frontierland – Diamond Horseshoe | Seasonal: Cool Kids’ Summer only (May 26 – September 8, 2026); check app for times

Jessie’s Roundup is a seasonal experience running during Cool Kids’ Summer (May 26 through September 8, 2026) in Frontierland at the Diamond Horseshoe. This limited-time interactive experience features Jessie, Woody, and friends with crafts, dancing, and yodeling fun geared toward younger guests. If you’re visiting during this window, it is a fun, low-key addition to your Frontierland stop. You don’t need to participate to stop by, cool off in the air conditioning, and watch the show. Check the My Disney Experience app for showtimes, as it is not continuous throughout the day.

Shows and Entertainment in Fantasyland

Dumbo Playground

Duration: Varies (based on ride wait time) | Mobility: No transfer needed | Indoor, air-conditioned | Located inside Dumbo queue in Storybook Circus

Inside the Dumbo the Flying Elephant queue in Storybook Circus, there is a massive indoor air-conditioned playground that is one of the best-kept planning secrets at Magic Kingdom. When you join the standby line for Dumbo, you’re given a pager and sent into this play area to wait until your number is called. Kids can climb, slide, and play to their hearts’ content while parents sit on benches and rest. Even if you don’t plan to ride Dumbo, this is worth knowing about on a hot day when the kids need to burn off energy in the AC.

Casey Jr. Splash and Soak Station

Duration: Varies | Mobility: No transfer needed | Outdoor splash area in Storybook Circus | Open during park hours

Casey Jr. Splash ‘N’ Soak Station is located in Storybook Circus in Fantasyland, right in front of The Barnstormer. This isn’t a ride but a splash pad styled as a circus train with water spraying from the cars. Kids can run through the sprayers and get completely soaked, which makes it an ideal midday stop on hot Florida days. Bring a change of clothes or plan to let them air dry on a slower part of the day. Adults are welcome to sit on the benches nearby while the little ones cool down.

Mickey’s PhilharMagic

Duration: Varies | Mobility: No transfer needed | Outdoor splash area in Storybook Circus | Open during park hours

Near Peter Pan’s Flight. In Fantasyland, this 3D show features Donald Duck crashing his way through scenes from Disney classics like Aladdin, The Lion King, and The Little Mermaid. The show combines sweeping visuals, music, and even scents for a fully immersive experience. It’s housed in a theater near Peter Pan’s Flight and Prince Charming Regal Carrousel.

Enchanted Tales with Belle

Duration: ~20 minutes | Mobility: Wheelchair accessible; ECV users transfer to wheelchair | Indoor, air-conditioned

You’ll find Enchanted Tales with Belle in the Fantasyland area, near Gaston’s Tavern (and if you haven’t had a LeFou’s Brew yet, stop in while you’re there!). This is one of my favorite non-ride experiences at the whole park. Guests step into Maurice’s cottage, travel through a magic mirror into the Beast’s library, and become part of a live retelling of Beauty and the Beast. Some guests are cast in roles alongside Belle and Lumiere, and the whole thing feels more personal than you’d expect. Even if no one in your group gets picked for a part, it’s really charming. You will have the opportunity for a photo with Belle at the end.

Smellephants on Parade

Duration: Varies | Mobility: Accessible viewing areas available | Outdoor

Smellephants is a fun, family-friendly interactive activity. Stop by the Ticketbooth in Storybook Circus to pick up your free map, which includes stickers to track your progress. Search through the Storybook Circus area of Fantasyland to find all 8 Smellephant statues. This experience is sponsored by Scentsy, and each statue is accompanied by fun scents. Return to the Ticket Booth to get your prize when you are done! The Ticketbooth is typically open between 10 am and 6 pm, but times may vary.

Shows and Entertainment in Tomorrowland

Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor

Duration: ~20 minutes | Mobility: No transfer needed | Indoor, air-conditioned

On the right as you enter Tomorrowland. This comedy show is located in Tomorrowland and invites guests to interact with characters from Monsters, Inc. Live actors and animation combine to create jokes — many inspired by audience participation. The show changes each time, so it’s worth seeing more than once.

Carousel of Progress

Duration: 15 minutes | Mobility: No transfer needed | Indoor, air-conditioned

Also in Tomorrowland, this rotating theater show highlights how technology has changed everyday family life over the decades. Walt Disney himself helped design it for the 1964 World’s Fair. It’s slow-paced, air-conditioned, and full of Disney history.

This ride will be closing July 6, 2026, to be updated; it will reopen in 2027.

the 50th Anniversary Gold Statues Scavenger Hunt

Duration: Times vary | Mobility: No transfer needed | Outdoor

During Disney’s 50th anniversary, several golden statues were placed throughout all of the parks. See if you can find them all! In Magic Kingdom, there are 25 Golden Statues. Get your free printable Golden Statue Scavenger Hunt checklist here.
