Disney’s All-Star Music Resort Review
Is Disney’s All-Star Resort the right value resort for your Disney World Vacation? In this post, I will share my experience staying at this value resort and help you decide if Disney’s All-Star Music Resort is right for you.
I found this resort to be super nostalgic and fun. While it is in the Value Category, I was impressed with the property, decor, and finishes in the room as well. This resort’s interior is very comparable to Pop Century but has a lower price.

ABOUT OUR RECENT STAY AT DISNEY’S All-Star Music RESORT
I visited the All-Star Music Resort at Disney World in February of 2026. I stayed in the Broadway Hotel area on the 1st floor. We really liked our location; it was further from the main buildings, but the area was really quiet.
OVERVIEW
Disney’s All-Star Music is categorized as a value resort. The pricing is really good, and the rooms would work well for any family of 4.
THEME & ATMOSPHERE:
All-Star Music Resort is themed after different styles of music: Rock, Jazz, Country, Broadway, and Calypso. The theming at All-Star Music Resort was done really well, with giant music notes, instruments, a Jukebox, Broadway signs, and more!
This is a very popular resort for families due to the lower price point and theming. It is also one of the more appealing All-Star Resorts since it is the newest and has strong Disney Theming.
LOCATION OF All-Star Music RESORT
All-Star Resorts are located in the Animal Kingdom Area. The Address for All-Star Music is 1801 West Buena Vista Drive, Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830.
Sections at All-Star Music Resort
Country Fair – (Buildings 5 & 6)
The country area was decorated with a banjo and violin and other country- themed decor.
Jazz Inn (Buildings 2 & 9)
The Jazz Inn section had a giant drum set, saxophone, and lots of music notes on the building.
Calypso – (Buildings 1 & 10)
The Calypso area is beside the main pool. It was so bright and fun!
Broadway Hotel (Buildings 7 & 8)
Our room was in the standard category and we were in the Broadway section. The theming was really fun. The Broadway Hotel area was made to look like the Broadway road with street signs and marquees for shows along the road.
Rock Inn (Buildings 3 & 4)
The Rock Inn section featured a bright jukebox, electric guitar, and other rock and roll references.
TRANSPORTATION
The transportation at All-Star Music includes Disney Busing to all of the parks. Because this is a value resort, you will only find busing (or paying for Lyft and Uber) as options. Disney provides plenty of buses in the morning, so you won’t be waiting too long.
The bus stop is in front of the building with some seating, and buses generally come every 15-20 minutes.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET TO the PARKs FROM All-Star Music RESORT?
- EPCOT can be reached using the Disney Bus Transportation. It is a 10-15 minute ride.
- Magic Kingdom is about a 20-minute trip from All-Star Music, taking the bus.
- Hollywood Studios is a 10-15-minute trip on by bus
- Animal Kingdom is the closest park, only a 5-10 minute bus ride from All-Star Music.
- Disney Springs is about 20 minutes away.
ROOMS AT All-Star Music RESORT
The rooms at the All-Star Music Resort are intended to fit up to four people, with most rooms having one queen bed and one Queen-sized pulldown table bed (murphy bed) or a single King bed.
ROOM OPTIONS AVAILABLE AT All-Star Music
- Standard Room: 1 queen bed and 1 queen-sized pull-down table bed or 1 King Bed. Views of the Courtyard, Pool, or Parking Areas.
- Preferred Room: 1 queen bed and 1 queen-sized pull-down table bed or 1 King Bed. Views of the Courtyard, Pool, or Parking Areas. Rooms are located closer to the Main building with dining, shopping, and transportation.
ROOM FEATURES AND DECOR
The rooms at All-Star Music were updated (in 2018 and now have a very clean, modern look. The flooring is laminate, which is nice since carpeting is much harder to keep clean. I also love that you can fit your bags under the queen bed.
The room is furnished the murphy bed table, and 2 chairs, a good-size dresser, and a cabinet that stores the safe and gives you a good amount of storage.
The bed is very comfortable, and the Murphy bed has the same mattress, so it is equally comfortable.
Most rooms at All-Star Music will also have the new “Hey Disney” Alexa gadget, which is a fun new addition.
STORAGE IN THE All-star Music ROOMS
You will find plenty of plugs and USB outlets throughout the rooms. There are 2 USB and 2 standard plugs between the beds at the nightstand. You will also find 4 more USB and 4 more plugs at the dresser. This is so helpful if you’re charging phones, MagicBands, rechargeable power banks, fans, or other electronics.
There is a beverage cooler and some additional shelving, which we used to store our resort food. You will also have storage in the single nightstand between the beds.
OTHER IN-ROOM AMENITIES
Each room also comes with a Cuisinart coffee maker that makes a single cup of coffee using Joffrey’s Coffee pods that are provided. You’ll also receive Twinings tea bags and a few coffee creamers and sugars.
Housekeeping is happy to refill your items during your stay just let them know if you need any extras. There’s also an ice bucket you can use and fill at the ice machines throughout the resort.
On the wall, you’ll have a large television, giving you access to your favorite channels and Disney movies to unwind after a day exploring the parks.
THE BATHROOM LAYOUT AT all-star Music resort:
In the bathroom, you will have a sliding door to divide the toilet and tub/shower from the sink and counter area. You’ll also have a sliding door that can be pulled closed to divide the room from the closet and sink.
The door to the toilet and shower was also nice. This way, someone can be using the toilet or taking a shower while others are getting ready at the sinks.
As usual, Disney provides bath products in the shower, including body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. You will also receive a bar of soap by the sink.
There was plenty of storage in the bathrooms and a good amount of counter space. Shelves under the sink, 3 shelves beside the sink, and 3 shelves on the way. Very impressive storage for a value resort. You will find the hair dryer on these shelves.
The closet is beside the vanity. It is an open-concept closet with a closet rod and hangers. The closet space in this resort was not very generous, something to keep in mind if you are staying with multiple people. You will also find the iron and ironing board in this area.
When we travel with our kids, we always bring a super convenient foldable closet organizer and a shoe organizer. This gives us extra storage for their clothes or shoes when there aren’t enough drawers for everyone.
FOOD AND DRINKS – DINING AT All-Star Music
What are the dining options at All-Star Music?
- Intermission Food Court – Quick Service offering plenty of food options for the whole family.
- Refreshment Interlude – Pool bar with little bites and drinks.
Intermission Food Court
The quick-service dining option at All-Star Music is at Intermission Food Court. This traditional quick-service dining location offers American fare, including burgers, chicken tenders, pizza, and many other options.
Silver Screen Spirits pool bar
You will also find the Pool Bar located by the Fantasia pool. You can order sandwiches, snacks, and alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages to enjoy by the pool.
THE POOLS AT All-Star Music
All-Star Music has two pools to choose from the Calypso Pool is the main pool, and the Piano Pool is the smaller pool further back in the resort.
Calypso Pool
Calypso Pool is guitar-shaped with the Three Caballeros featuring Donald Duck, José Carioca, and Panchito in the middle.
Piano Pool
The Piano Pool is the smaller pool located in the back of the resort.

THE ARCADE
The Noteable Games Arcade is located in the Melody Hall and is a great option for a rainy day or a great activity to help your kids wind down at the end of the day.
THE PLAYGROUND AT All-Star Music
The Playground at All-Star Music is located between the Jazz Inn (Building 9) and Calypso (Building 10)
MOVIE UNDER THE STARS.
These usually happen at 8:00 pm nightly (times may vary) on the Calypso Pool Deck.
THE COST TO STAY AT All-Star Music RESORT
The rooms cost from $130 and up. You can find extra savings if you are an Annual Passholder or during specials throughout the year.
IS All-Star Music GOOD FOR FAMILIES?
I think All-Star Music is a great option for a budget-conscious family. If you’re planning on spending most of your time in the parks, then this resort is the one for you. It’s low-cost, great Disney theming, and access to Disney transportation are perfect if you’re looking to save money. I’d always recommend staying at one of the Disney value resorts before considering staying at an “off-property” resort. Find out why here.
Family Suites at All-Star Music Resorts
One special thing about All-Stars Music is that they offer family suites. Family suites offer a separate bedroom with a queen bed and its own full bathroom. The living area has two queen-size Murphy beds and a second bathroom. There is a kitchenette (with microwave, full-size fridge, and a coffee maker. These rooms are harder to book, and the prices start at around $350 and up, depending on the season.
