Breakfast at Animal Kingdom Kusafiri Coffee Shop and Bakery
This is one of my favorite stops in Animal Kingdom, especially in the mornings. Originally, I fell in love with this quick-service spot when I tried the popular Coconut Cold Brew, and my love just grew from there. On my last trip, I grabbed the new Pistachio Croissant and was in love!
Kusafiri Coffee Shop is located in the perfect spot, so you can stop and pick up a treat and coffee after enjoying your Kilimanjaro Safari. It is located in the Africa section of Animal Kingdom by the bathrooms that are located near the entrance of Kilimanjaro Safari. Just remember, if you want a breakfast sandwich, they are typically not offered after 10 or 10:30 am.

Breakfast Items at Kusafiri Coffee Shop & Bakery
You’ll find a few good breakfast options at Kusafiri. You can get the Bacon and Egg Croissant served with potato barrels (tator tots), which is a hearty breakfast option. They also offer the breakfast Totchos, a bowl of potato barrels topped with eggs, nacho cheese, and bacon. They also have overnight oats and several pastries to choose from.
Coconut Cold Brew
Joffrey’s Cold Brew flavored with coconut, oatmilk, and topped with a drizzle of sweetened condensed milk. While I typically prefer Joffrey’s espresso-based iced drinks, this cold brew is a winner! It was just sweet enough and so creamy and delicious!
Pistachio Croissant
This is a flaky croissant topped with pistachio frosting and pistachio crumbles. It also has a nice filling that reminded me of the frangipane filling inside of an almond croissant, but I’m not quite sure if that’s what it was. This was so delicious! I can’t wait to be back so I can have it again – and ask what’s inside! This is also offered at Tamu Tamu in Animal Kingdom.
I’ve tried the breakfast sandwich, but sadly, I don’t have any photo evidence to share. It was really good. It’s also a good size to cut in half and share since it comes with a large side of potato barrels.
Kusifiri also offers lunch; they offer delicious rice bowls and wraps as well as kids’ meals. If you’re in the area mid-day, you might want to stop by and see what they have.
