Filling our days with Magic!
We are Disney “late-bloomers”. Our first trip as a family was in 2016 with our two children (then, 7 & 9 years old) and we’ve been coming back ever since. With two teenagers still at home we’re using every opportunity to make memories and have fun together as a family.
We’re a family of 4 from Pennsylvania taking the 2-hour flight (or 20+ hour drive) down to Disney whenever we can. I’ve become… yes… a Disney Adult. I’ve decided to embrace it and fully embrace the magic, filling our lives with happy, fun times! I hope you’ll find helpful information so you can plan your magical trip to Disney World.
Favorite Snack in Each Park:
- Magic Kingdom: Dole Whip float with Coconut soft serve
- Animal Kingdom: Cheeseburger Pods at Satu’li Canteen in Animal Kingdom (Pandora)
- Epcot: Currently it’s the pretzel bread pudding in Sommerfest in the EPCOT Germany Pavilion.
- Hollywood Studios: On our last trip, I fell in love with the Outpost Popcorn Mix (Kat Saka’s Kettle). (My braces made it difficult, but it was worth the struggle.)
My favorite park:
Epcot – As an avid world traveler I love being able to walk through World Showcase enjoying the sights, sounds, and smells of each country. There’s nothing quite like waking up in the morning and hopping into France to pick up a chocolate croissant from Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie and a Joffrey’s coffee.
Favorite ride: For the thrill: Cosmic Rewind, it is truly epic! For nostalgia” The Three Caballeros in Epcot (Italy Pavillion).
Favorite Epcot Festival – I have to say the International Flower and Garden Festival. I’ve been several times now and I just love how pretty the park is. There are impressive topiaries to see everywhere you turn.
Favorite Resort: The Beach Club was amazing! We would go back there every time if it wasn’t a Deluxe Resort (a little out of our everyday Disney budget) Port Orleans French Quarter is probably my favorite affordable option.
